WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE
SAMANTHA SACKS + PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Sam has been living and breathing design since she was a little girl, decorating her bedroom with garbage picked finds and paper mache dreams.
Her style reflects her personality — slightly wacky yet deeply grounded. She has a firm respect for the fundamental tenets of great design — symmetry, scale and proportion — but her bohemian bent is always evident.
A mother of three, Sam gets kids, loves decorating for families and knows how to design around a hairy dog.
Sam is a former features editor at House & Home Magazine and her work has been published in every major Canadian design publication.
SARAH VALENTIC + JUNIOR DESIGNER
Sarah earned her BA in marketing from the University of Toronto and followed with an Interior Design Advanced Diploma from George Brown College.
She's all that and a paint chip more for her unbeatable personality which makes her a seamless fit for our clients.
Sarah Loves designs that make you feel better when you're in them, hanging out with her dog, Liv, and cooking anything Jamie Oliver.
LAURA GODDARD + ACCOUNTING
Laura is the yin to our yang, the Luciano Pavarotti to our Lucinda Williams and we'd be dead in the water without her.
With over 30 years experience working with government affiliated organizations, not-for-profits and private businesses, Laura provides in-depth analytics and creative thinking skills to Sam Sacks Design.
When she's not crunching numbers, you'll find Laura skiing, hiking, sailing or snow shoeing with her family.
KELLY CHADDA + DESIGNER
With over 20 years experience as a leader in the textile industry, Kelly not only knows every fabric, floor covering and wallpaper in existence, but in her own words, "she's brought them home to Mama."
Kelly's discerning taste and elevated eye are met with an infectious personality that makes every project feel less like work and more like a very fun, creative thing just happened.
MADISON BURK + INTERN
The queen of the budgets and an AutoCAD whiz, Madison is currently finishing her last year at Ryerson University with a Major in Interior Design and a Minor in Urban Sustainability.
Before joining our team, Madison worked for years with antique furniture in a small store north of Toronto.
In her off-time Madison can be found paddling Lake Ontario as part of U 0f T's dragon boat crew.
